Construction Services Website with a CMS: Full Cycle from Market Research to Launch

  • Service business website
  • Next.js
  • Payload CMS
  • Fullstack
  • UX/UI
  • SEO

Client and Challenge

The company provides machine-applied wall plastering and semi-dry floor screed services. It needed a website that explains the offer, shows the work process, and leads to a cost estimate request.

What Was Done

  • Analysis of competitor websites, site structure, and user flow: what services are offered, how they differ, how the process works, and what drives the price.
  • Interface design for private customers.
  • Next.js front end: components, inquiry forms, navigation, and a basic SEO structure.
  • Payload CMS: content is updated without code changes.
  • Server deployment: environment, build, Payload CMS launch, environment variables, and post-release checks.

Technical Details

Next.js, Payload CMS, server deployment; the front end fetches data from the CMS and renders pages.

Result

Not a static landing page but a manageable web product: content is changed via the CMS, and the architecture allows adding services, pages, and features.

Performance

Google PageSpeed Insights, desktop: 97/96/100/100.

My Role

I delivered the entire project myself: research, structure, design, front end, CMS, integration, and deployment.
